Victory Poker Leaves Power Poker Cake Network
Monday, March 28th, 2011The move has come in a period of great upheaval on the home of Power Poker, the Cake Poker Network. Doyles Room Poker were one of the first to leave the network back in January whilst one of the more popular faces in poker Lee Jones left as Cake Poker Card Room Manager in December and has since signed on at PokerStars as head of the Home Games section. Tournament Director Serge Ravitch left at the same time as Jones as they cited disapproval of the direction Cake was headed.
Victory Poker on the other hand if the rumours are true will have moved three times in its short existence having first started on the Everleaf Network. It then joined Cake and now seems set to link up with Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.In an interview with Poker News Daily following the release of this rumour Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman responded:
“I would be excited to join a network that hosts the third largest site in the U.S. and has very few partners to focus on. It would be great for everyone involved.”It is a turbulent period for the Cake Network but we continue to offer 33% rakeback and a huge sign up bonus for Power Poker.
